Stage II: Main (Descriptive) Examination

Eliminative

English language test (100 marks) consisting of Essay, Letter, Grammar, and Translation. Minimum qualifying: 50% for Gen, 45% for Reserved.

Stage III: English Typing Test

Eliminative

Qualifying test on computer. Required speed: 35 wpm. Permissible mistakes: 3%.

Stage IV: Interview

Personal interview carrying 15 marks. Minimum qualifying marks: 7.5 for Gen, 6 for Reserved.
