- Nationality: Citizen of India, Subject of Nepal, or PIO migrated from specific countries with intent to settle.
- Marital Status: Unmarried Female.
- NCC Requirement: Minimum 2/3 years service in Senior Division/Wing of NCC with a minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate exam.

The selection process is rigorous and based on merit. It involves a unique Bonus Marks system for shortlisting.
1. Shortlisting (Bonus Marks out of 100)
- NCC 'C' Certificate: 'A' Grade = 50 marks, 'B' Grade = 25 marks.
- Graduation Marks: 85-100% = 50 marks, 80-84.99% = 40 marks, 75-79.99% = 30 marks, 70-74.99% = 20 marks, 65-69.99% = 10 marks, 60-64.99% = 5 marks.
2. SSB Interview
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day SSB interview at Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar).
3. Medical Examination
Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a medical board examination.
